After the gathering, Capteya delivered all of the soronite ore and
bars she had in her stores to the collective's bank. Some went to a skilled
blacksmith to design a fel resistant armor set. The blacksmith went straight to
task, exploring many possible ways to forge the best set with the right
properties. Knowing the high value his design will have on it, he made it his
single focus. Sometimes he would need to relax that focus with strong ale,
sometimes he would speak proudly of his work, sometimes the wrong people hear
of it. After a fortnight the work was completed and packed up to be shipped
back to the Deathknights. The blacksmith took one last look at his work as it
was being carted away and around a bend, unaware that thieves wait in the
shadows of thoses bends.
A female Troll killed the driver and picked the lock on the
trunk with no other damage to the cart. She had the precision of a deadly
rogue, but she must not have been a well traveled rogue, for she never checked
the set for sentry wards. This is how we know the thief's face, yet we don't
have a name...yet.
As soon as word caught wind, we have been tracking the set up
until last night when the ward was destroyed. If we act now we catch up to her
in the West Plaguelands. She will most likely be going through a mountain pass
to avoid the checkpoint at the Bulwark. I request you call to our brethren
for any extra blades willing to help us reclaim our armament.
Respectfully
Cap
